Anne Platt’s distinctive approach to yoga blends a deep experience with two seemingly different disciplinesKrishnamacharya and Dance. In fact, her interest in yoga actually grew out of her years as a ballet and jazz dancer.

Anne discovered early on that dancing fueled her spirit as well as her body.
It provided the sense of self that enabled her to move fluidly through a life characterized by constant change.

Dance sent her around the world, and exposed her to many different styles of movement. A developing interest in health ultimately led her to yoga. Her practice not only gave her a renewed sense of well-being, but also offered the spiritual connection that brought everything together.

Today, Anne’s unique blend of yoga and dance can be found in countless programs throughout the United States and Europe. She has created customized programs for world-renowned wellness centers such as Miraval and Canyon Ranch. She’s developed health & wellness training for schools, hospitals and YMCA’s. And she is currently working with disabled veterans in the Los Angeles area.

Anne resides in Malibu (with a husband and three remarkably evolved dogs), where she hosts private yoga retreats and yoga trance dancing. She also regularly teaches at various West Side studios, and offers private training to a wide variety of the famous and not so famous. She is a member of AFAA, IDEA, IAYT, and is a registered Yoga Alliance instructor.
